My 100th Baseball Game
A few weeks ago I did something I never could have imagined . I attended my 100th professional Major League Baseball game. If you had asked my five years ago if I ever thought I would be able to attend that many games before the age of 20, I would have laughed at you. But that all changed when I got a job with my hometown team the Milwaukee Brewers. Now, as a roaming food vendor I have the opportunity to attend as many games as I want.
A goal that I previously imagined would have taken decades to accomplish, (it’s hard for me to justify paying so much money to see adult men playing games) instead only took 2 1/2 years. Along the way I have made many friends, interacted with many professional players (and their wives!!), and have even been hit by my fair share of foul balls.
The first 100 games sure went by quickly. As long as people continue to buy my Pepsi and frozen Minute Maid Lemonade, I expect the next 100 games will go by just as quickly and equally as enjoyably.
